The Fritz Burns “Post-War House” and traffic, Wilshire and Highland, Los Angeles. 1945. The house was the brainchild of innovative tract-home builder Fritz B. Burns. Burns opened the house in 1946 and charged $1 admission. Designed by renowned architects Walter Wurdeman and Welton Becket, the Post-War House was a showcase for modern living.
